Class of 2025
Taylor Aguilera
Taylor Aguilera is an Organizing Director with a decade of campaign experience. She has led organizing teams across the South Eastern United States in voter registration, petition gathering, and get out the vote campaigns in both issues based advocacy and electoral campaigns. She attended Hillsborough Community College and Florida International University where she studied political science and communications. Most recently, Taylor directed the statewide organizing effort to qualify and get out the vote for Florida’s Amendment to Limit Government Interference with Abortion (Amendment 4) where they mobilized 6 million voters in favor of the amendment. In addition to qualifying Amendment 4 for the 2024 General Election, Taylor has had campaigns with Jon Ossoff for US Senate 2021, Raphael Warnock for US Senate 2021, and Biden Harris 2020. Previous to her political career, she spent time working in the criminal justice system as a courtroom clerk then a paralegal with her circuit’s Public Defenders office. It was in the 10th judicial circuit of Florida where her passion for change was sparked. She saw first hand the need to help end systematic injustices in her home community. She decided to change career paths to organizing work to help make a difference through who is elected to public office and how communities can use their collective power to effect change. When she is not advocating for change, she is spending time with her two sons where they enjoy spending time together as a family.
Allie Berry
Allie Berry was the Campaign Manager for Protect Our Rights, the abortion ballot in Nebraska! Before working in Nebraska, she managed a House of Delegates race in Virginia and was the Deputy Finance Director on the VA-02 congressional race. Allie lives in Omaha with her husband and fat orange cat, Larry. When not collecting petition signatures or door-knocking, she enjoys running, scrapbooking, and anything to do with music!
Lauren Brenzel
Lauren Brenzel is an organizer and strategist with a decade of experience working on issues of healthcare access, reproductive rights, and LGBTQ+ advocacy. They are coming off of the 2024 cycle having served as the Campaign Director for Yes on 4, which secured 57.2% of the vote to restore access to abortion in Florida. Lauren is passionate about ballot initiatives as a tool for democracy reform and creating meaningful policy for working people outside of partisan politics.
Laura Dent
An Arizona native, Laura is the daughter of Colombian and Canadian parents and was born and raised in the Phoenix valley. Her family’s immigration experience and commitment to civic participation helped shape her values growing up.
Laura is an experienced organizer, policy advisor, political operative, and executive. She spent years working in the labor movement before serving Tucson Mayor Regina Romero during her time on the City Council. Laura has served as Executive Director of Chispa Arizona, a statewide climate justice organizing program of the League of Conservation Voters as well as Coalition Director of Activate 48, a network of movement-building organizations leading voter engagement work across Arizona. Laura is passionate about reflective democracy work, reproductive justice, and the environment. She holds a BA in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona. Laura most recently served as Campaign Manager for Arizona for Abortion Access, a citizen’s initiative that successfully enshrined the right to an abortion in Arizona’s constitution in 2024. She lives in Tucson with her boyfriend Carlos and daughter Clara, and is expecting another daughter in early 2025.
Lucy Sedgwick
Lucy Sedgwick (she/her) joins the Ambassadorship Program with more than fifteen years of campaign and organizational management experience. Most recently, she served as the Senior Advisor for Floridians Protecting Freedom, a statewide ballot initiative that attempted to end Florida’s abortion ban. She previously served as the President & CEO of Ruth’s List Florida, where she oversaw a major expansion, tripling their staff, doubling their revenue, and supporting a record number of candidates. In 2020, she led a successful statewide coalition in Colorado that defeated a high-profile ballot initiative to ban abortion later in pregnancy. Through her work, Sedgwick has also trained hundreds of organizers, campaign staff and candidates, including as the National Training Director for both Warren for President and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, where she taught political candidates at all levels to run and win campaigns. After years of crisscrossing the country, she’s settled down (for now!) in St. Pete with her husband, son, and dog.

Since 2022, she has managed or advised on winning abortion rights ballot measure campaigns in Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio and Missouri. Rachel lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband and two cats.
