Most voters in the U.S. will have the opportunity to decide on policy themselves this November. There are 140 statewide ballot measures are certified for the ballot in 38 states. Use this simple guide to learn which ballot measures will appear on your ballot in 2022 and make a plan to vote.
STEP 1: Check your voter registration status
Are you registered to vote? Look up your voter registration status and make sure it’s up-to-date.
STEP 2: Look at your sample ballot
Make sure you know who and what’s going to be on your ballot — including the ballot measures that may be appearing in your state. Reviewing ballot measures ahead of time will allow you to research and decide whether you’ll vote yes or no on each one before you go into the voting booth or mail in your ballot.
STEP 3: Make a plan to vote
Know where and when to vote, including early voting and vote-by-mail options in your state.
