Chris Fernández

Originally from Cincinnati and a proud graduate of the University of Arizona, Chris has spent the past few cycles working to elect Democratic candidates to office across Arizona.

This past cycle, Chris worked in finance for Congressman Greg Stanton’s successful reelection campaign, where he was able to directly deliver $1 million in call time contributions and contributed to $2.5 million total over his tenure. In the aftermath of Dobbs, Chris later served as Arizona State Director for Planned Parenthood Votes’ paid field program, where he led 50 staff and oversaw an expansive ground campaign with over 70,000 voter contacts across some of the state’s most competitive legislative districts.

Previously, Chris worked in field as both a Field Organizer and Deputy Field Director for various campaigns and advocacy organizations, including Mike Bloomberg 2020, the Arizona Democratic Party, and others. As a student, Chris further served as an intern for the offices of Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva and Congressman Ruben Gallego.

Outside of his work, Chris remains active in his community as a board member of the Young Democrats of Arizona. The son of immigrants from Costa Rica and Peru, he now lives in Phoenix with his fiance Aerin and their two dogs, Beto and Dolly.
